Currently, she leads the data visualization efforts for a sustainable development project focused on Milton’s storm water ponds, collaborating with researchers and professors from the University of Waterloo, Wilfrid Laurier, McMaster, and the University of Toronto, as well as partners from Crozier. By transforming complex environmental data into actionable insights, she not only advances sustainable solutions but also encourages other youth to engage, fostering the next generation of changemakers. Aaila joined softball six years ago and went on to become a provincial-winning player, recognized for her dedication, rapid growth, and competitive spirit. As a coach of Milton soccer, she brings the same teamwork, and mentorship skills from the field to all aspects of her academic and community pursuits, applying her talents to empower others while continuing to develop as a student, athlete, and leader.
